Learning Objectives

• Recognize the importance of reaching clinical targets for patients with dyslipidaemia, hypertension, and other comorbidities, and discuss the clinical challenges of reaching them, such as adherence issues due to polypharmacy
• Review clinical guidelines and treatment recommendations for patients with dyslipidaemia and comorbidities
• Outline an individualized approach for the management of patients with dyslipidaemia, hypertension, and other comorbidities, addressing specific patient factors

This educational module is the 12th module of the “Deep dive into dyslipidemia: myths and realities” program – developed by leading cardiologists from around the world – challenging commonly held beliefs to separate the facts from fake news through evidence-based research.

Participants will learn about the latest data, clinical evidence, and recommendations for effective and safe management of adults with dyslipidaemia, from disease pathophysiology to efficacy and safety of various treatments, approaches to treatment for special populations and patients with cardiovascular comorbidities, and overcoming barriers to effective treatment.
